Button Masher is my multi-media project that brings together jazz and video game music. This project has received widespread recognition on social media from general audiences, as well as from notable jazz musicians. For this project, I use Famitracker and Ableton Live to recreate and utilize the sound design of retro video games. Just as jazz builds on early popular music, my Button Masher project extends retro video game music. As in jazz, each tune includes both structured parts and improvisation. Many of the tunes cover popular video game melodies. Other tunes are originals that utilize the sound design of well-known retro video games.

Grime Proof
Grime Proof is the cross-genre combination of Noir Grime (Shubzilla & Bill Beats) + FireProof (Mark Cooper & Prowess The Testament). They are four artists with the same common goal, To create DOPE music people can connect with, cherish, & have a good time to. Collectively, Grime Proof has more than two decades of experience lighting up stages across geographies but recently wrapped the East Coast leg of their joint tour across New England and the Mid-Atlantic from Wash, DC to Brooklyn, NY to enjoying hot wieners in Providence, RI and performing in a host of cities between eventually landing in Portland, ME. Now, Grime Proof is taking their tour West to soak up the sun on the left Coast and bring the house down at MAGWest. Grime Proof currently livestreams regularly on their respective twitch channels and participates in various producer battles and a host of music events across the country. Grime Proof converges to deliver a party with a purpose.
